Here at Custom Model Depot we take great care in the creation of the 3D models required to make high quality vehicles. Using 3D scans of real vehicles allows us to be confident in our product’s accuracy. When 3D scans can not be acquired, 4 way drawings are used in the modelling process. This is a far more laborious task compared to working with a 3D scan due to the hours of research required to ensure accuracy across all points of the model.
With advances in printer technology, resins, and experience, we consistently improve our product as new information and products come to light. An example of our obligation to improvement is the introduction of rubber tires to our kits over hard resin tires allowing modelers to assemble our vehicles with further ease.

After the model is created, it is prepared for printing and sent to the 3D printer. When developing a new model, we check tolerances and ensure the model is scaled correctly in all dimensions before releasing the kit. If the model is deemed to be unworthy, the model is corrected and printed once again.
Included with all our vehicle kits are detailed visual based instructions that assist the modeler in assembling out kits without hassle as well as providing insight into preparation for paint, finishing, and application of windows. Allowing you to spend more time enjoying a finished model instead of a perhaps daunting project.
