The 1958 Caterpillar D8 is designed from accurate drawings. An impressive amount of detail can be seen everywhere on the model, from the gauges on the cowl, to the injector on the engine, it’s certainly worthy of any exacting model railroader.
Care is needed when painting the model, the manual includes helpful tips on how to get a high quality finish. You can paint the model with acrylics or enamels since the 3D resin printed parts are not adversely affected by enamel paints.

3D resin printed items like our detail parts and vehicles, all require some amount of clean up. While we removed most of the support material, the final finish needs to be done by the modeler.  It’s an easy process and only takes a few minutes to get a stunning result.
